Somodi Cottage lies in the most secluded place in the area of Kiskunság National Park, at the meeting point of the Sand Dune and Lake Kondor, in an undisturbed territory of native flora and fauna.
The traditional farmhouse, formerly a thatched press-house, hosts a restaurant where our guests find dishes prepared according to classic Hungarian recipes, as well as special national dishes.
People of any age are charmed by the magic beauty of the Puszta in this idyllic little green island. The wonderful sight of the reviving Lake Kondor and the sand dunes of the Puszta gives a lifetime experience to our guests. The idyllic environment and undisturbed tranquillity around Somodi Cottage are accompanied by full comfort.
Our guests find a tranquil island of the Great Hungarian Plane here, offering a relaxed holiday, complete with a traditional, familiar hospitality.

In 1999 Somodi Tanya was awarded the
Patronage Board the highest prize of Gastronomy.
